Is Stardust a smaller Maven?
twister6 called it Maven II’s little brother: similar deep bass and natural mids, with a softer, more organic top end and a less holographic stage. For electrostatic air and a bigger stage, step up to Maven III.
Is the treble bright?
No. Reviewers describe a smooth, silky top end with no sibilance even at higher volume. The trade-off is less sparkle and air than brighter sets, which treble-sensitive listeners tend to welcome.
Which plug should I choose?
The cable is included in every plug, at the same price. 3.5 mm works with most dongles, laptops and music players. 4.4 mm balanced suits dedicated players and balanced DACs and gives more control. 2.5 mm balanced is for older players with that socket.
Is titanium heavy?
No. Titanium is about 43% lighter than steel, so the Stardust stays comfortable for hours.
Stardust, 3DT or MEXT?
3DT is all-dynamic and natural. Stardust adds more bass weight and the titanium shell. MEXT goes further with bone conduction you can feel.
Which ear tips should I use?
Try every size in the box before judging the sound. The right tip sits snugly without pressure, and that is when the bass fills in and the treble settles.
