    Sniff and treat

    Put DOG+ on the floor. Treat every time your dog sniffs or touches it.

    On for one minute

Will my dog still hear me?

Yes. DOG+ reduces noise by up to 27 dB. It does not block out every sound, so your dog still hears your voice and its surroundings. Loud bangs just arrive much softer.

My dog is between two sizes. Which one?

Go by head circumference first, measured over the ears and under the chin. If it is at the top of a range, take the next size up. Still unsure? Send us the measurements and a photo and we’ll check.

What if my dog won’t keep it on?

Ear Defenders for dogs superb customer service

Canine Ear Defenders
I ordered medium for our sprocker to help him with the fireworks. Despite 'careful' measuring the chart recommended a medium size. The defenders arrived quickly as I requested for the New Year fireworks. I didn't know they existed until looking online for advice after Christmas and had emailed a request for priority delivery. I had a reply almost straight away confirming the defenders had been dispatched. . . Brilliant service. Unfortunately the defenders were a little bit too large but despite that seemed to work well and we gad an almost stress free night of fireworks. The advice on getting the dog used to them until he was comfortable worked like a dream. It helps I guess that he's a good dog and well used to different games and experiences . So, as they were too large I emailed customer service who advised on returning and ordering the smaller size which I followed and received the small size a few days after. They fit much better and are happy with them. I am so impressed with the product and the service provided. Tom, you are a credit to the company and your attitude and commitment to the customer is 5+ 🌟

Good hearing protection

I initially had problems because the headphones quickly slipped on my dog or did not close properly.
Then I put a loop scarf underneath.
My dog seemed to feel good with it. He still needed support on New Year's Eve, but he eventually fell asleep.
The next day he was relaxed and in good spirits, which hadn't happened on New Year's Day before.

For a 25 kg Bulldog, Medium could potentially work, but the dog’s weight alone is not enough to select the correct size. The most important measurement is the head circumference around the area where the Dog+ ear defenders will sit.

On our Dog+ product page, you can find the full size chart together with instructions showing exactly where and how to measure your dog’s head.

I would recommend taking that measurement first and comparing it with the chart before ordering. Bulldogs can have quite different head shapes even at the same weight, so this will give you a much more reliable fit.

Our Flat Coated Retriever girl has a head circumference of 45 cm and weighs approx. 28 kg. According to the chart we'd then need size M if you go by circumference. But by weight it's L. Which would probably be better? Thanks and kind regards
