Great for motorcyclesI’ve bought these before so I know they are the best but this time I had the ear measuring service to ensure even more protection. So easy just send a photo of your ears and let AI do the rest. These are so much better than more expensive and uncomfortable moulded ear plugs. I can hear my phone and sat nav but no wind noise. Great EarplugsNever thought I would use earplugs even though I ride a Harley and have tinnitus. But decided to try these. Comes in a great machined aluminium case I was surprised to receive. Easy to put in and what a difference. I can still hear my helmet head speakers for directions. Very comfortable as well.

Very good plugsTook me a few attempts to fit correctly, first couple of tries came out of ear. Now I know how they fit my ears I found them to be very effective at noise damping whilst still having intercom. Very comfy on long rides, max ~2 hours and not sign of pain or uncomfortable feeling. Would recommend and advise plenty of time to find best way to fit your ear before you go out!!!

Great productI've tried various ear plugs for when I'm on the bike but have never quite found the right one, until now. These are easily the best I've tried. Fit perfectly and reduce both wind and road noise when out. The service I received was first class and I would happily recommend the ear protector and Bollsen themselves.

Blocks out wind but let’s in tunes !Ive tried many different earplugs in a variety of motorcycling roles from commuting, police response to touring and I have to say that after 30 years of motorcycling these are the BEST ! Easy to fit, comfy, do their job and are a great price.

Motorcycle earplugsThis is my first time buying a Bollsen earplugs. Like any earplug they can be fiddly to insert but once in properly they really are very good. The best at noise reduction that I’ve used to date. My pipes are loud and Bollsen do a great job.

Bollsen Moto+ reviewOriginal review: 27/09/26 I have found that, for me, they are no better than the other ear plugs I was using before. Fitting them initially seemed easier than my other ear plugs, but this proved to be short lived. I have had limited success getting them to stay in the correct place in my ears. A lot of the time, they stick to my finger after insertion, resulting in their coming loose again. When they are properly in place, they certainly are comfortable and do what they’re supposed to do. Overall, though, they are not sufficiently better than my other ear plugs to justify the extra expense so, they will be returned if I’m still within the guarantee period. UPDATE: 01/10/26 I returned the earplugs, as directed, sent the package tracking number and received a prompt response acknowledging receipt of the information and informing me that a refund had been initiated and should be received within the next few working days. The package was posted on the afternoon of 29/09 and I received a full refund today, 01/10. The customer service from Bollsen is excellent and they absolutely stand by their guarantee. While the earplugs did not work well for me, possibly due to the shape or size of my ear canals, I have no hesitation in recommending Bollsen, based on the level of service they have provided. Definitely 5 stars for that.

Are earplugs allowed when riding?
Yes. In the UK, plain hearing protection is legal to wear while riding. Touring abroad? France’s 2015 rule bans devices that play sound into the ear, such as earphones, not passive earplugs. Some motorsport series even require hearing protection.
Will I still hear my engine, intercom and traffic?
Yes, just quieter. Moto+ takes about 24 dB off everything (SNR 24) instead of sealing your ears. Wind roar is the loudest thing on a bike, so that is what you notice going; horns and sirens start far louder and still reach you. Using an intercom? Turn it up a step or two before you set off.
Will they fit under my helmet?
Yes. Moto+ sits inside the ear with a flat profile: no cables, no hard parts, nothing that sticks out against the helmet liner. Put them in before the helmet goes on.
Will they stay in at motorway speed?
They are made to. The two soft lamellae hold the plug in the ear canal, and the small tab lets you take them out without tugging. If a plug keeps loosening, tell us and we exchange it for another size, free.
Which size will I get?

How do I put them in?
Place the earplug on your fingertip and gently twist it into the ear canal until it seals, with the tab outside. Do it before the helmet goes on. After the ride, rinse them with water, let them dry and keep them in the case.
Why do I get headaches after long rides?
Wind roar inside a helmet runs from around 90 dB at 30 mph to well over 100 dB at motorway speed, and much of it comes in under the shell. Hours of noise at that level are linked with fatigue and headaches. Moto+ takes about 24 dB off it.
Can my pillion use them too?
Yes, Moto+ works the same for a pillion. The 2-pair pack (“You + pillion”) costs less a pair than two singles.
How long do they last?
Each pair is made for about 100 rides. That is 30p a ride for a single pair, or 16p a ride in the 4-pack. Swap to a fresh pair when they no longer seal well.
When will my order arrive?
UK orders over £35 ship free in 2 to 3 business days. Below £35, tracked delivery costs £4.95 and takes 1 to 3 business days. Order before the cut-off shown above the button and it leaves our UK warehouse the same day.
