I’ve had quite a few pairs of various earplugs over the 25+ years playing in loud samba type, street percussion bands with up to 40 or so players on occasion, that’s loud!! Large surdo drums with high pitched smaller drums, all hit very hard along with various metal agogos, cowbells and the daddy of the high ‘crack’ a small unassuming hand held Tamborim. Over time there is potential to develop tinnitus so regret not wearing ear protection over a lifetime of being involved with loud music of some variety. Earplugs never look good value and the Bollsen are no exception, however they do work very well taking out the damaging sounds but still being able to hear the music and what I’m playing as my part as a coherent whole. Due to the nature of them, size etc they’re easily mislaid or lost, I managed to keep my last pair for over two years, a wee canister to put on a keyring helps and there’s one with the Bollsen too. I kept costs down by clubbing together and buying three pairs which brings the price to a better level. I can recommend the Bollsen and hope I can retain these for at least 2 yrs with care, maybe longer!

Good for work
The earplugs are well suited for focused work and studying.
When sleeping they don't press, but they filter out too much noise and I can no longer hear my alarm.
For people like me who sleep very deeply, they're unfortunately not suitable for that.

Fürs Arbeiten gut Fürs konzentrierte Arbeiten und Lernen sind die Ohrstöpsel gut geeignet. Beim Schlafen drücken sie nicht, jedoch sie filtern zu viele Geräusche und ich höre meinen Wecker nicht mehr. Für Menschen, wie mich, mit einem sehr festem Schlaf, sind sie leider dafür nicht geeignet.
Caution: check the screw connections
These lightweight carbon hiking poles were given to me as a retirement gift.
A flight and then hiking on the first of my many Camino pilgrimage routes. After 2/3 of the way, unfortunately one of the poles gave up on me, hence one point off.
The fitted sleeves are screwed into the carbon tube. These sleeves hold the pull cord and, in the end piece, also a spring.
During use on normal terrain (gravel path), one of the poles simply lost its lower end.
Missing/lost were:
the screw connection and the spring for the last section. (Compared by carefully unscrewing the other pole.)
I didn't realise that this is "just" a loose screw connection. On closer inspection, other sleeves could be screwed in further.
After contacting Maja (support), a new pair was sent to my home address without any fuss and free of charge.
Now I hope this pair survives the next tour without any problems.
I'm also curious to see whether anything about the design gets improved, and I'll certainly compare this with similar poles for myself.

Achtung Schraubverbindungen kontrollieren Diese leichten Carbon Wanderstöcke wurden mir zur Pensionierung geschenkt. Flugreise und Weiterwandern auf meinem ersten der vielen Camino Pilger-Wegen. Nach 2/3 der Strecke hat mich leider einer der Stöcke verlassen, daher einen Punkt Abzug.Die angebrachten Hülsen sind eingeschraubt ins Carbon-Rohr. Diese Hülsen halten die Zugschnurr und im Endstück auch eine Feder. Bei Einsatz auf normalem Gelände (Kiesweg) hat einer der Stöcke das untere Ende schlicht verloren. Es fehlte/wurde verloren: die Schraubverbindung sowie die Feder für das letzte Stück. (Vergleich bei vorsichtigem Aufdrehen beim anderen Stock).Mir war nicht klar, dass es sich hier "nur" um eine lose Schraubverbindung handelt. Bei näherer Betrachtung haben sich weitere Hülsen tiefer einschrauben lassen.Nach Kontakt mit Maja (Support) wurde mir anstandslos u. Kostenlos ein neues Paar an die Heimatanschrift gesendet. Nun hoffe ich, dass dieses Paar die nächste Tour ohne Beanstandung übersteht.Ich lasse mich auch überraschen, ob an der Konstruktion etwas verbessert wird und werde dies für mich mit ähnlichen Stöcken sicher noch vergleichen.

Hörschutz Silvester war zwar immer noch schlimm für unseren Hund, aber der Hörschutz machte den Abend erträglicher. Viele Geräusche hat unser Hund nicht wahrgenommen und lag relativ lange entspannt auf seinem Platz

Ruhiges Silvester Wir haben normalerweise immer das „braune Rauschen“ benutzt. Das hat auch gut funktioniert aber wir wollten dieses Jahr diesen Gehörschutz Testen. Und sie hat ihn wirklich gut akzeptiert: damit geschlafen- damit ihr Geschäft erledigt. Und dieses Bild war an Silvester… Normalerweise zittern und ängstlich. . Und jetzt so! I initially had problems because the headphones quickly slipped on my dog or did not close properly.
Then I put a loop scarf underneath.
My dog seemed to feel good with it. He still needed support on New Year's Eve, but he eventually fell asleep.
The next day he was relaxed and in good spirits, which hadn't happened on New Year's Day before.

Guter Gehörschutz Ich hatte zunächst Probleme, da die Kopfhörer bei meinem Hund schnell verrutscht sind oder / und nicht richtig abgeschlossen haben. Habe dann noch einen Loopschal drunter gepackt. Mein Hund hat sich wohl damit gefühlt. Er hat Silvester schon noch Support gebraucht, aber er ist schließlich eingeschlafen. Am nächsten Tag war er entspannt und guter Dinge, was an Neujahr bisher nicht vorkam. Auf jeden Fall ein Erfolg!

Hammer Nachdem wir jedes Jahr an Silvester total verzweifeln bin ich auf die Kopfhörer gestoßen. Ehrlich gesagt war ich total skeptisch aber dank des Rückgaberechts und meiner Hilflosigkeit hab ich es getestet. Und was soll ich sagen ich bin schwer beeindruckt von den Teilen. Unser Silvester war viel entspannter als die letzten Jahre. Die letzten Jahre hab ich um das Herz meines Hundes gebangt. Und dieses Jahr hat er sich sogar hingelegt.
