Your statutory right to cancel

As a consumer you have the right to cancel any contract made with us within 14 days — without giving a reason. This right is governed by the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.

When does the period start?
The 14-day period begins on the day you, or a person nominated by you (other than the carrier), take physical possession of the goods.

How to exercise your right to cancel

What matters for the deadline is the date you send your notice, not the date we receive it. The cancellation form at the end of this document may be used, but it is optional.

What happens after you cancel?

Our refund to you:
We will refund all payments received from you — including standard delivery costs — without undue delay and no later than 14 days after receiving your cancellation notice. We use the same payment method as your original purchase; you will not be charged any fee.

We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back, or until you supply proof that you have sent them — whichever happens first.

Returning the goods:
Send the goods back without undue delay and no later than 14 days after your cancellation notice, to the address for your region below.

The deadline is met if you dispatch the goods before it expires.

Important: To ensure an immediate refund and return process (1–2 business days), please email us the tracking number of your return at support(@)bollsen-hearingprotection.com, or simply reply to your order confirmation email.

Return costs

For cancellations under your statutory right, we provide a free returns label. Request it before sending the goods back by emailing support(@)bollsen-hearingprotection.com. If you return the goods at your own expense without using our label, we are unable to reimburse those costs.

We recommend using a trackable delivery service. We cannot guarantee receipt of a returned item that is not tracked.

Diminished value:
You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods where this results from handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning.

When the right to cancel does not apply

The right to cancel does not apply, or ends early, in the following cases:

  • Sealed hygiene products — goods which are not suitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons, where the seal has been broken after delivery.
  • Inseparably mixed goods — goods which, after delivery and by their nature, become inseparably mixed with other items.
  • Sealed audio, video or software media — where the packaging seal has been removed after delivery.
  • Goods made to your specification — items manufactured or altered to your individual requirements.

Faulty or damaged goods

Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are unaffected by anything on this page. If goods are faulty, not as described or not fit for purpose, you have a short-term right to reject them within 30 days of delivery for a full refund, and thereafter the right to a repair or replacement. These rights are in addition to the cancellation right and the guarantee set out here.

40-day money-back guarantee

We go beyond the statutory right to cancel: if for any reason you are not satisfied, we will refund the purchase price in full or in part — for up to 40 days from the date of purchase.

Conditions for using the guarantee:

  1. You request a return authorisation from our customer service within 40 days of the purchase date.
  2. The product is returned to ERTG d.o.o. at the appropriate address above.
  3. Sealed hygiene products whose seal has been opened after delivery are excluded from the guarantee.
  4. You must quote your order number when returning the product.
  5. Shipping costs and the risk of the return are borne by the customer.
  6. Returns sent without prior authorisation from ERTG d.o.o. may be refused.
