A Leader in High-End In-Ear Monitors

Triple Dynamic Power for a Truly Natural Sound

The Unique Melody 3DT is a standout in-ear monitor designed around a rare triple dynamic driver configuration, delivering a rich, organic and highly musical listening experience. By combining two 7mm dynamic drivers dedicated to powerful, textured bass with a carbon nanotube (CNT) dynamic driver for mids and highs, the 3DT achieves a perfect balance between impact, clarity and natural tonality.Engineered with a precise 3D acoustic structure, each driver works in harmony to create smooth transitions, reduced distortion and accurate sound positioning. The result is a cohesive, full-bodied sound with impressive depth and realism. Finished with handcrafted stabilized wood shells, the UM 3DT not only sounds exceptional but also offers a premium aesthetic rarely found at this level — making it one of the best value high-end IEMs in its class.

Triple Dynamic Driver Architecture

The Unique Melody 3DT features a powerful triple dynamic driver configuration engineered for a cohesive and natural sound performance. It combines two 7mm dynamic drivers with dual composite diaphragms dedicated to low frequencies, alongside a 10mm carbon nanotube (CNT) dynamic driver responsible for mids and highs. This all-dynamic setup ensures seamless coherence across the frequency range, delivering deep, textured bass, rich and natural mids, and smooth, detailed highs. Unlike traditional hybrid designs, the 3DT offers a more organic and unified sound signature, with excellent tonal balance and realistic timbre.Enhanced by a precision-engineered 3D acoustic structure, the drivers work in perfect harmony — reducing distortion, improving transitions, and creating a more spacious and accurate soundstage with precise instrument positioning.

Precision-Tuned Triple Dynamic System

The UM 3DT is built around a carefully tuned triple dynamic driver system designed to deliver a natural and immersive listening experience. Dual 7mm drivers handle the low frequencies with power and control, while a dedicated CNT dynamic driver reproduces mids and highs with clarity and precision. This configuration allows for a smooth frequency response with excellent balance, avoiding the disjointed feel sometimes found in hybrid designs.

Engineered for Coherence and Musicality

Unlike traditional multi-driver setups, the 3DT focuses on full dynamic coherence. By using only dynamic drivers, it achieves a more unified and organic sound signature. The result is a fluid transition between bass, mids, and highs — delivering a lifelike presentation where instruments and vocals feel naturally connected, with no artificial separation or harshness.

Advanced 3D Acoustic Structure

To maximize performance, Unique Melody developed a precise internal 3D acoustic structure that optimizes airflow, driver positioning, and sound wave propagation. This advanced design reduces distortion while enhancing staging and imaging accuracy. The result is a wider, more holographic soundstage with improved depth, allowing you to clearly perceive every detail and position of the music.

Why Unique Melody?

Unique Melody hand-builds in-ear monitors and custom monitors for listeners and musicians around the world, and keeps trying ideas other brands do not.

Bone-conduction pioneers

The original MEST brought a bone-conduction driver into an in-ear monitor. Today UM combines up to four driver technologies in one shell.

Materials with a purpose

Carbon fibre, zirconia ceramic, 3D-printed titanium, stabilised wood and walnut: each chosen for how it sounds as much as how it looks.

Custom specialists

UM has built custom monitors from ear impressions for years. Selected models are available as Custom Fit, moulded to your ears.

Official UK & EU partner

BOLLSEN is Unique Melody’s partner for the UK and EU: genuine stock, a 2-year warranty and support from our own team.

What reviewers say about the 3DT

A long-standing favourite: audioreviews.org rated it a can’t-go-wrong pick and Audiophile Heaven praised a stage that punches far above its price. The caveats are a lively 3–5 kHz region that can sound forward to sensitive ears, and a shell that suits medium to large ears best.

What they love

Natural timbre and coherence from the all-dynamic design (audioreviews.org)
Stage and imaging well above its price (Audiophile Heaven)
Clarity and transparency (Headfonia)
Beautiful wood craftsmanship, with every pair unique

Worth knowing before you buy

Upper mids can be forward for sensitive ears; a warmer source helps
The shell is fairly large and the nozzle short: long-stem tips fit best
The stock cable is functional rather than luxurious

Summarised from independent reviews: audioreviews.org, Audiophile Heaven, Headfonia.

3DT: your questions answered

Why three dynamic drivers?

Using one driver type across the whole range keeps the sound coherent and the timbre natural. Two 7 mm drivers handle the bass and a 10 mm carbon-nanotube driver handles mids and treble, each in its own 3D-printed tube.

Will it work with my phone?

Yes. It is very easy to drive, so a phone with a simple USB-C dongle is enough.

Which plug does it come with?

A 3.5 mm plug, which works with almost every dongle, laptop and music player.

Is there a Custom Fit version?

The 3DT is sold as Universal Fit. If you want a custom-moulded monitor, look at the MEST MKII, MEXT or MEST MKIII CF.

Which ear tips should I use?

With a universal IEM the ear tip decides the seal, and the seal decides the bass and the treble. Try every size and type in the box before judging the sound: the right tip sits snugly without pressure and the bass suddenly fills in. Reviewers say this matters on almost every Unique Melody model.

How fast is delivery?

It is sold on pre-order and delivered by DHL Express within 5 working days.

What warranty and returns do I get?

A 2-year warranty, handled by our UK & EU support team. You can return it within 14 days if the hygiene seal is unbroken. Your statutory rights are not affected.
