The Unique Melody 2HT is built around a carefully engineered hybrid driver system, combining a 10mm dynamic driver with a high-quality balanced armature. This dual-driver configuration allows each frequency range to be handled with precision — delivering powerful, controlled bass alongside clear, detailed mids and highs.
The dynamic driver is responsible for the low-end, providing depth, impact and natural texture, while the balanced armature ensures accuracy and clarity in vocals and high frequencies. This separation of roles results in a more balanced, articulate and refined sound performance.
Carefully tuned by Unique Melody, the 2HT achieves a smooth and coherent transition across the entire frequency range, avoiding harshness while maintaining excellent detail retrieval and musicality. The result is a versatile Hi-Fi sound signature that feels both dynamic and natural, whether you’re listening casually or critically.
The Unique Melody 2HT stands out with a level of craftsmanship rarely seen at this price point. Each shell is crafted from stabilized wood — a premium material created by infusing natural wood with resin to enhance durability while preserving its organic beauty. The shells are precisely CNC-machined and then carefully hand-finished, resulting in a unique multi-layered wood grain pattern on every pair.
Beyond aesthetics, the 2HT is engineered for performance and longevity. It features a metal nozzle with a protective mesh that not only ensures durability but also enhances treble clarity. A reinforced metal vent improves airflow and acoustic balance, while the flat 2-pin (0.78mm) connectors allow easy compatibility with high-end upgrade cables.
Unique Melody hand-builds in-ear monitors and custom monitors for listeners and musicians around the world, and keeps trying ideas other brands do not.
The original MEST brought a bone-conduction driver into an in-ear monitor. Today UM combines up to four driver technologies in one shell.
Carbon fibre, zirconia ceramic, 3D-printed titanium, stabilised wood and walnut: each chosen for how it sounds as much as how it looks.
UM has built custom monitors from ear impressions for years. Selected models are available as Custom Fit, moulded to your ears.

Crinacle rates the 2HT as well tuned with strong technical performance for a two-driver IEM. Other reviewers find the treble bright with a bit of bite, so it suits listeners who like clarity and energy more than a warm, dark sound.
Yes. It uses the standard flat 0.78 mm 2-pin connector, so any 2-pin IEM cable fits.
With a universal IEM the ear tip decides the seal, and the seal decides the bass and the treble. Try every size and type in the box before judging the sound: the right tip sits snugly without pressure and the bass suddenly fills in. Reviewers say this matters on almost every Unique Melody model.
It is sold on pre-order and delivered by DHL Express within 5 working days.
A 2-year warranty, handled by our UK & EU support team. You can return it within 14 days if the hygiene seal is unbroken. Your statutory rights are not affected.
